Rivers and canals are great places for people to relax in attractive surroundings, and explore the historic visitor sites located next to them. We are working to provide even more ways for people to enjoy the experience, spend money and help generate additional income that we can reinvest in the waterways. As part of this effort, we have opened and now run three widely-renowned visitor attractions.

Our key attractions: The Falkirk Wheel in Scotland, the Anderton Boat Lift in Cheshire and Standedge Tunnel in the Pennines attract thousands of visitors every year.
